Some Work Stuff

I decide to post some work stuff, because I think it's kind of interesting.

We started with old, old hand spotwelder from the 70'
Then Fritz (coworker) and I hooked up a Weldtron 108b controller up, provided by Spotweld Inc.
The Motoman controller is a Sk120 with the MRC controller, a very old, old controller.  But has everything you need, and nothing fancy.
We move the Robot in to place knowing this is where the welding supervisor wants it.
Knowing I need something to hold up the 250KVA transformer cabling I searched around the shop for a crane.  And just by luck I ran across this.

Using Soildworks I made adaptors and mounts for the End Effector

Using a prototype design for a fixture just to test and make changes for the future fixture.

These are just some pictures of my coworker Fritz (when this picture was taken we were on our 19th hour of work) having a good time.
