This is actually my 4th version of this extruder head. This is a picture of the one that shorted on me because the wiring melted (duh) and shorted the wires and blew my power supply. I left wires bare and used more keflon tape and BAM!, good as new. Here are somethings I learned about the extruder head, after some trials. Get a thermalcoupler, instead of a thermistor or anything like that, they will melt. Keflon tape is your friend. I've use low ohm ceramic resistors and I've had them blow up on me. Put fanolic between the aluminum, because the aluminum will act as a heat sink and the extruder will never heat up. Buy plenty of spare parts, you will need them and enjoy.
