Wrecks

These are some really old photos.  I was still in high school when I was stripping out 240s for parts to build other 240s.

Memories of my old Sil-Eighty

I really miss this car.  I got this 240sx for free from a friend with no engine, and it was an automanic and just full of rust.  I did all the body work, paint, engine swap, conversions and even the paint myself on this car.  I learned a lot from this car, and I couldn't believe I found these photos on an old photobucket account.

Pictures of the Z, 5 years ago

I got this car in a trade for one of my old 240sx many years ago, and I've drove it for a while and blew the engine at Rockfalls Raceway.  Ever since I've been building it up.  It's been a really slow and I have all the parts, it's a matter of getting the motivation to get this baby going.

Meow Man

Just posting the new wheel adapters that changes the Mazda Miata's 4 x 100 to 4 x 156 of a Raptor 660 ATV so i can fit wheels.  I robotically welded it and they look awesome, my cat (tho meow) thinks so.  Also I'm waiting for the metric bolt, coming in the mail, to add the studs for the lug nuts.  I got them at Bolt Depot.com
M10x1.25, pack of 50 for $35 shipped.

Finished the pedals, what can I say about them but they are sweet and I hope they work.

This is happening

Wow, now I'm really working on Go-Kart with help from my brothers Joel and Mark.  I've realize that I really want a good 220 or 480 mig welder at home. Tacking everything up with a POS 110 does its job but not really.  The go kart is  a lot of work, but it'll be all worth it in the end. It just saddens me that I'm not 100 percent done with it and school has started.  I don't even know when I can work on it next. :-(  We'll See.

Also I should mention that I bought the heim joints, seat and the air tank at a really great website.  http://www.surpluscenter.com/.  They are a surplus website with tons of random crap for cheap so check it out.

Heim Joints: $70
Seat: $20

Pedals X 3

Working on the pedals, but I'm missing the actual pedals, so I'm going to sit on these for a while and try to get other things done.

Yes, a paddle shifter is necessary

This is the custom paddle shifter I'm adding to it.  As you can see it uses two limit switches, set up as normally close and the switch is made when you pull the paddle towards the steering wheel.  It will be better explained when it's hooked up.

Intake: Done

Finished the surge tank.  I went with a 3" inlet because that's the size my 15 dollar filter I bought on Ebay.
